About the Founder

Aysun Uyanik

With over 10 years of experience in finance, accounting and financial management, I founded Familiar Consultancy to provide practical, reliable and personalised financial support to businesses across the UK.

My career began in financial reporting and business administration before progressing into senior finance roles within multinational organisations. Throughout my career, I have managed financial operations, budgeting, cash flow, VAT compliance, financial reporting and business planning for businesses operating across the UK and international markets.

After years of working in corporate finance, I recognised that many small and growing businesses needed the same level of financial expertise as larger organisations—but delivered in a more personal, flexible and accessible way. That insight led me to establish Familiar Consultancy.

Today, I work closely with business owners, providing tailored bookkeeping, management reporting, VAT and financial consultancy services. My approach is practical, transparent and hands-on, helping businesses stay organised and remain compliant.
